KING GEORGES PARK

Public BBQ

This family-friendly park, complete with a large playground and skate park, is an ideal spot for picnics and outdoor activities. It's shaded by large trees and offers expansive grass areas perfect for games. Close to shops and with a huge car park accommodating trailers, it's conveniently located. While the BBQ facilities are a bit dated, the overall experience is enhanced by clean toilets and a relaxing ambiance. A unique feature is a tree grown from the seed of Lone Pine on Anzac Cove, adding historical significance. The park's beauty is further highlighted by its views of Mt. Roland and lovely artwork. It's also a hub for community events, offering great food and local products. This park is a delightful escape in town, perfect for families and children to play, relax, and enjoy the scenery.
